The XW-ADW 8000A with rotatable welding head option extends the capabilities of the standard double-side welding platform for battery packs requiring angled or tilted spot welding. Combining 8000A welding current with servo-driven rotatable heads, this configuration handles non-standard pack geometries and hard-to-reach joint positions while maintaining the dual-head simultaneous welding advantage.

  • Rotatable Welding Heads: Each of the dual welding heads can be angled for tilted spot welding, enabling access to recessed or angled joint positions that fixed perpendicular heads cannot reach — essential for complex pack designs with staggered cell arrangements.
  • 8000A Balanced Output: Mid-range 8000A welding current offers an optimal balance of penetration capability and energy efficiency for standard production requirements on pure nickel and nickel-plated steel tabs (0.1-0.3mm).
  • Servo Motor XYZ Motion: Three-axis servo motor drive with linear guide rails provides precise positioning with programmable welding paths, ensuring consistent quality on both perpendicular and angled weld joints.
  • Dual-Head Simultaneous Welding: Two independent welding systems continue to weld positive and negative poles concurrently at 0.3-0.5s per cycle, maintaining high throughput even with rotatable head configurations.
  • PC Programmable Interface: Industrial PC software enables operators to program complex multi-angle welding sequences, store angle-specific parameters, and monitor weld quality in real time with NG detection and data logging.
